So, I decided that I wanted to make a plotting thread for my first, (and currently only), character, Silverblaze! I’m really enjoying my time so far on the site, but I wanted to see if anyone wanted to plot and start some good roleplays! I’m probably not that good with these, but mostly I’m just looking to see if anyone’s interested about doing some threads between your character and mine, and I’d be more than happy to hear any ideas, comments, or questions that you may have! And don’t worry, I don’t bite, so bring on over anything that you may think of, I look forward to roleplaying with everyone on this site and I can’t wait to get started! :3

Brief Summary: Silverblaze is a tom of 39 moons of age and has recently become the deputy of RiverClan. He’s a calm and serious minded cat but holds a kind heart and is extremely loyal to and cares for all those within his clan and the cats he knows. He’s both strong of heart as well as rather stubborn, but holds the warrior code highly and is of honorable intent, mostly. He is rather prideful, and holds an ambition that occasionally gets him into trouble, but he would do anything for RiverClan, and his loyalty extends to the point that he views cats of other clans with indifference and slight superiority, as well as mistrust. But overall Silverblaze is a cat with good intent in heart, a loyal cat of his clan and a warrior of undying courage and zeal, though he does have a history of being misled on occasion from such a path. Love Interest: With the death of his brother barely a moon ago and his recent gain of position as RiverClan deputy, Silverblaze has cast little thought to finding a mate or any such feelings. However, that doesn’t mean the possibility is ruled out. Right now his mind is troubled by the death of his brother and his life is now only just beginning to gain a look of hope into it, and perhaps what the silver tabby needs is a little love and caring in his life. Of course a she-cat in RiverClan is the most likely way to go, but a cat from another clan or no clan at all is a possibility, though it would require a little bit more planning and thinking, since he is rather opposed to cats not of RiverClan at the moment as a general thought. But really any cat that could deal with or match his personality could be a great match, and overall this is really open right now for any ideas or suggestions, no matter the character.

Friends: Given Silverblaze’s generally kind and compassionate nature, he’s likely to have some friends, especially given his fierce devotion and loyalty to his clan. Cats of RiverClan are the most likely here, though others are also a possibility, but your character would really have to hit it off well with this silver tabby, or at least some event or situation would have to cement their friendship, if your character isn’t from RiverClan that is. But overall this is a pretty open option, and would be one of the easier plots to make between characters.

Rival(s): Silverblaze isn’t really one to go looking for rivals or competitors himself, but his nature makes it so it’s a clear possibility to have some. Because of his pride and the fierce loyalty to RiverClan, cats who somehow insult either him or his clan are options here, though depending on the severity such a plot may better fit in the enemies section, since Silverblaze would fiercely defend his pride or the name of his clan, very fiercely. A better start would be his ambition however, and the determination that the silver tabby shows to proving himself to those around him. If somehow he felt another was outdoing him or was somehow blocking his ambition in an innocent enough way, the RiverClan deputy wouldn’t be below beginning a rivalry with them, and competing in any way possible, as he did with his brother, though that case was a bit more severe, (although it could be as severe with another cat).

Enemies: There are several possibilities that could go here at a first glance. The most likely would be cats outside of RiverClan, who as mentioned above, either insult him, or really much worse, insulting or threatening RiverClan or one of the cats within the clan within earshot of the deputy. He’s a fierce defender of his clans name, and if the severity is high enough, he would see another clan cat or rogue as an enemy almost immediately if they showed signs of being a potential threat to RiverClan. However, enemies within RiverClan are also a possibility. Given his prideful and ambitious nature, it’s not an impossibility to forgo his kind nature and earn his hatred, a fact very clear by the intense battle and hatred that existed between Silverblaze and his own brother in the past. This would require a little bit more planning, but would be a definite possibility to do.

Other: Overall, the four sections of plots above have really no constricting purpose. They’re just brief ideas of how such a plot that fits in one of the categories could start. This doesn’t mean those are the only options, or even what I say in each is the only option. If you have any idea, anything that you may want to do, please, go ahead and say something or ask me! Chances are I’ll like your idea, and we could have a really good plot going. I’d be happy to hear anything, and I really look forward to reading any ideas or suggestions that come! So please, send them over, and I can’t wait to work with some of you at making some great character interactions, and really get into the roleplaying on this wonderful site! ^^

There’s one final thing I may as well mention here, since it is a possibility at sort of an “automatic” plot with Silverblaze, if you can call it that? If anyone wanted to make a RiverClan cat, but wasn’t really sure who to make, someone could adopt Silverblaze’s sister, Crowflight, as a character. There would be a few details that would be sort of pre-defined, (though I would be more than willing to work out details), but if anyone is interested at this possibility than feel free to send me a PM about it! It would actually be pretty cool if someone decided to take her as a character, and would really give way to plenty of excellent plots that could go on between the two, given their history and relations towards each other, especially since their brother’s death.

I have Flamestorm from RiverClan. And I was thinking that since they are only one moons apart in age, they could be like best friends since mostly having grown up together? And I also saw that he was ambitious, and so since he is deputy and Flamestorm was somewhat ambitious as well, I could see Flamestorm having a slight grudge because Silverblaze became deputy instead of him, but they are still close despite that. And I could also see some annoyance from Silverblaze towards Flamestorm because he is a little bit too much of a flirt? It would be up to your whether he voices it or not, it could be interesting if he did ^^ But anyway, just my suggestions. If you don't like them it's cool, no big deal lol.

I also have a River Clan cat. :) Dovesong could be like his little pupil. Perhaps he cold've been her mentor? He's old enough to have been. Maybe he could kinda watch over her like a daughter or a younger sister. That would be kinda cute. :)

Also my other cat, Iceheart the deputy of ThunderClan, could possibly be friends with him. Maybe they met each other as apprentices while at a gathering. They could always go to sit next to each other and eachange new at gatherings. :D

@tiny: Your suggestion is great! I can definitely see them being best friends, since they hold a great deal in common. They’re both very loyal to RiverClan and hold common personality traits, and even their history is very similar, with both of them losing siblings some time during their life. Since as kits your character wasn’t as troublesome as his other siblings, he and Silverblaze could have met early on as kits, and then as apprentices they could have become very close friends, Flamestorm being one of the few friends Silverblaze had at the time. Then this just carried on into their warriorhood, helping each other out, etc. Since Silverblaze just recently became deputy, Firestorm could also have a still fresh grudge against him, though it would be up to you whether it would be noticeable to Silverblaze or not. ^^ As for Silverblaze being annoyed at Flamestorm for his flirting nature, he could see it as sort of immature or disruptive given his personality, and he would be the cat to voice such opinions to Flamestorm whenever he saw the ginger tabby doing so. But like I said, this sounds great, and I’m really looking forward to roleplaying between them!


@ice: That’s sounds like a really good idea! Silverblaze definitely could have been her mentor, though this would mean you would have to alter your history a bit, (really just the name though), since Silverblaze would definitely be one to push his lazy apprentice into tip-top shape given his strict nature, especially when it comes to those he mentors. :3 And he could still see her, even when she became a warrior, as sort of a younger sister/daughter figure, perhaps having become very fond of her when she was an apprentice, or even from her kithood, now constantly watching her progress and trying to help her become a great warrior. But I could also see, if he’s really fond of her, that he could be kind of overbearing and constantly trying to protect her, always trying to assign her non-dangerous patrols or hunts, which I imagine would get a few arguments from your cat. xD But it’s really up to you how you wanted to do this. ^^

And as for Iceheart, they could be friends, or at least on welcoming terms at gatherings, a sort of oddity for Silverblaze. xD But perhaps they did meet when they were apprentices, and despite my silver tabby’s “RiverClan or no one philosophy”, they hit it off pretty well, staying on good terms through their time as warriors and into them both becoming deputies of their respective clans. I could see them getting into arguments or at least debates on occasion though, given they’re both very loyal and rather defensive/easily provoked when it comes to their clans, but this could lead to a sort of a friendly grudging respect in such situations, since they both recognize the other is very loyal to their clan. I don’t know if you wanted some kind of event to their friendship, but given that RiverClan and ThunderClan are on opposite sides of the lake, it would be kind of hard to think of something they both could have been in, but maybe something will come to mind. ^^ Other than that though, this sounds very nice!

I think that if Flamestorm did happen to say something about Silverblaze's deputy-ship, it would either be a sarcastic comment that didn't mean much, or be a joke about it. And it'd be interesting to see what kind of arguments these two could get into over Flamestorm's flirting. xD

Sounds good! I could see Silverblaze getting annoyed at the sarcastic and off-handed grudge that Flamestorm has, if he notices, though in a more friendly, competitive way. ^^ And I agree, I can't wait to see what kind of situations they start arguing in or how they do so. :3 Now, I suppose a quick question then. Did you want to start a thread between them, or would you rather wait? It's completely up to you! ^^
