Physical Description:
Dovesong is a light grey she-cat with faded tabby markings. Her fur is on the shorter side, but very sleek (like most RiverClan cats). She has a bright pink nose and whiskers that are medium in length. She doesn't look like she has a lot of muscles, but any cat would be surprised when she goes for a dip in a nearby river. Her ears are a bit big for her head, but they look in proportion when looking at her whole body.
Personality Description:
First for foremost, Dovesong is a cat born into following the warrior code. She is loyal to her clan and her clan only, but feels that it is acceptable to have friends within the other four clans, so long as your heart does not find its way into that clan as well. She takes her duties as a young warrior seriously, and enjoys being placed on patrols. She still strives to be better at her duties as well as hunting, reasoning that just because you have completed your apprentice training does not mean that you have reached the extent of your abilities. She takes orders pretty well and doesn't try to cause trouble, but when it comes to being told to do something that she feels is wrong, Dovesong will defend her opinion and lack of actions even if it means punishment. She was a bit of a trouble maker as an apprentice, and still enjoys joking around with the other warriors.
Secondly, there doesn't seem to be a mean bone in this she cat's body. As a kit, she would boss other kits around in the nursery, but she eventually grew into a calmer apprentice. She would get a little bit of trouble with the other apprentices, but she was never a horrible young cat. As a warrior, Dovesong has taken on a motherly outlook, bothering with the apprentices and being company to the queens. She often tries to solve conflict between warriors, and keeps her eye on the adventuring kits. This is not to say that she would not go to battle for her clan, because she would, as it is the most important thing to her. She simply prefers to leave an easy life of calm watchfulness.
When it comes to friends, Dovesong is not the best at making them. She is a bit of a shy one, and often will not start off the conversation. She fears that she turns off other cats, because she can usually be found by herself and thinking aloud while hunting or sitting away from the other warriors, so she thinks that she is 'weird.' However, when she does end up making friends, Dovesong opens up to them and enjoys their company. She is more comfortable around cats her age, and feels a little bit awkward when speaking to those older than her. Although, one day she hopes to settle down and have kits with a mate.
History:
Dovesong was born an only-kit to her mother Moonflight and her father Boulderclaw. Born in the middle of a nice spring day, Dovesong was one of the only kits in the nursery at the time. Later in the season, other kits were born and as soon as they were old enough, Dovesong played with them. Well...it's more like she bossed them around constantly. One day, while "playing" with the kits, her mother took her aside and told her to "Treat others as you would like to be treated." Dovesong really took that to heart and stopped bothering the kits that were younger than her. Instead, she became their friends.
As an apprentice, she took her duties as something that she didn’t really need to do. She was plain lazy. Dovesong didn’t really care if she only caught a mouse for her clan. As soon as she caught one thing, she would return to camp, climb into her nest and sleep. Eventually, her mentor really got to her. Her mentor, Reedwhisper, told her that if she didn’t get her act together and care for her clan, she would never become a warrior and she would never be anything but an apprentice for the rest of her days. Anyone can imagine how much that scared her. After that, she got right to work and wouldn’t come back to camp unless she caught at least 3 mice. Dovesong got her act together and became the hardest working apprentice of her time.
Finally, at 10 moons she became a warrior. Still taking Reedwhisper’s advice/threat in mind she continues to work her hardest. As a warrior Dovesong has gained many friends and likes to go on patrols; however, hunting is her favorite pass time. One day while hunting, she came across a loner. She attacked the loner and told him to leave RiverClan territory at once. He didn’t put up much of a fight; he was sick and starving. Immediately, Dovesong wished she hadn’t attacked that loner. Instead, she apologized and told him to wait there. He did and when she came back, she brought food with her. She gave the loner a mouse she had caught earlier and also gave him some traveling herbs and helped teach him basic herb knowledge. When he finally had to leave, he thanked her and said, “I don’t know exactly what a warrior is, but, be a good one.” And with that, he left. Dovesong then realized that she never learned his name. From this day, she hopes to meet this loner again and learn his name.

Dovesong stalked slowly along the trail of prey she'd scented, a mouse, she was following the trail along the border with Thunderclan. She knew that if she wasn't careful she might get seen by a Thunderclan cat, buts he knew that while she was on this side of the border. She lowered herself and stopped moving as the mouse stopped, she controlled his breathing and leapt at the mouse. Killing it quickly then burying it as she stopped to scent the air again. She caught the smell of a shrew, he turned to stalk it.
Walking with careful precision, she was listening for the scrabbling sounds of the shrew. Suddenly, she heard it dash away and she chased it. However ass he ran after it the shrew ran into Thunderclan territory, Dovesong pulled herself up short and stopped. She’d wanted that shrew! She huffed and dug up her mouse and headed to the river. At least she had caught something for her clan. This New-Leaf was not bringing as much prey as it should be. It had just been a long and hard leaf-bare and the RiverClan cats starved. The river had frozen over, making fish extremely hard to find and leaving shrews, voles and mice the only pickings – but they were very few.
Walking into camp, she dropped the prey on the freshkill pile and then turned to rest. Heading to the side of the clearing, she would wait until all kits, elders and queens had their fill from the freshkill pile and then grab something for herself. While waiting, she groomed herself thoroughly. Noticing warriors were now going to get their food, she picked herself up, grabbed a shrew, and went back down to the mossy area to eat.
